TEXT / SMS Notification System
Did not get a prompt on your phone to sign up for our Text SMS message notification system? You are in the right place. Start by reviewing the FAQ.
- Parents: Text & SMS notifications are only available to registered parents, guardians and staff of BPSNJ. If you are not registered in our Genesis Parent portal, you will not have gotten a notification. Please make sure your parent portal contact info is up to date. Your cell phone number must be listed in your parent portal; kindly
- Select "mobile" if your phone is a mobile number.
- Indicate your mobile carrier.
- Mark "B" for broadcast.
- Staff: Please make sure your employee portal contacts are up to date. Your cell phone number must be listed in your employee portal for us to text you! To ensure you get messages, kindly

- Others: BPSNJ partners with several community members such as police, crossing guards, bus drivers and cafeteria staff. if you did not get a Text opt in message, please see your supervisor to be added.
- Not one of the above? Text & SMS messages are only for BPSNJ parents, staff and associated support staff. You can, of course, opt in for a text message, but if you are not a registered member of our system, you will not get them.
