School Meals - Free/Reduced Lunch Information

School Meals & Free / Reduced Lunch Program

2025-2026 Meal Price ListApplications for Free or Reduced Meals are now available.  You may complete this application via the Genesis parent portal and we have provided links to paper copies as well.

An application must be sent in every new school year.  You will have 30 school days from the start of school to send in your application.  Benefits carrry forward from the previous year until Oct 15, 2025. For school year 2025-2026, applications need to be received by October 18, 2025, or any previous school year benefits will expire.

This is an important opportunity for ALL BPSNJ families & children regardless of whether you think you may or may not qualify. Note that while we ask you to complete this form now, if you do not qualify, you may apply at anytime in the year if your circumstances change.  We ask that ALL families complete the School Meals application when you log into the Genesis parent portal.

    Please use these instructions to help you fill out the application for free or reduced price school meals. You only need to submit one application per household, even if your children attend more than one school in the district.

    Once the Genesis Parent portal opens in August of 2024, you will be guided through the process of completing the application. Please visit the Genesis Parent Portal for directions and an online application You may apply for school meals any time during the school year by submitting an application directly to your school or district.
